PRP (platelet-rich plasma) therapy for hair loss is a medical treatment in which a person’s blood is drawn, centrifuged to separate plasma from the blood cells which is later injected into the scalp. This injected plasma triggers natural hair growth and maintains it by increasing blood supply to the hair follicle.
